Let’s face it: when we get old there may be a lot of things that we can’t do that we did when we were younger. We probably don’t like to think of it, but some people have the misfortune to be unable to do simple things like walking very easily or may start to suffer memory loss. But that’s when we get old – maybe 75, 80, or older. Not at age 40 or 50.
But there is another issue here and that is that even at age 40 or 50, we can really start to look a lot older than we are. We can do all the walking and talking, and the memory is just fine, but we look 20 years older than we are. Wrinkles form around the eyes and on the forehead, and skin on the jawline and around the mouth begins to sag. We can be 40 and look 60. Especially here in San Francisco, residents are (unfortunately) quick to judge each other on appearance. It’s a “youth” town – full of the next startup, and the next new thing… so in a culture that values youth as here in the San Francisco Bay Area, you want to be young (or at least appear to be young).
Has This Ever Happened To You?
Have you ever had this happen to you? You are walking down the street, aged 45, and you see someone you haven’t seen since you were 25. You stop them and you say “Hey! Lisa Bennet! How are you? Haven’t seen you for years!”
And Lisa says “Huh? Sorry. Do I know you?”
You: “It’s me, Anita Morris. You know. We were at XYZ together.”
Lisa: “No! You don’t look anything like her”.
You: “It really is me, Lisa. Anita Morris.”
Lisa: “Well I’m damned. I wouldn’t have recognized you. You just don’t look anything like you used to do!”
She finally realizes that it is actually you, and you go and have a coffee and a chat about the good old days.
It is only later when you get home that you go and take a good look at yourself in the mirror and realize that age has caught up with you, and you really don’t look anything like you did when you were 25. And that is when it sinks in that you need to go and look for plastic surgeons in San Francisco. Well, they used to be called plastic surgeons in San Francisco, but today they are called cosmetic surgeons, but at Visage Medspa & Facial Plastic Surgery Center it is the same thing.
We are one of the foremost cosmetic / plastic surgeons in San Francisco, and our doctor, Dr Alex Rabinovich, is a leading specialist in restoring your youthful looks. Whatever issues you may be suffering – sagging skin around the jaw line, wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines, sagging eyelids – Dr Rabinovich is here and ready to help you look like the 25-year-old Anita Morris again.
